The senior leadership team comprises CEO Kevin Gray and COO Douglas Olofsson who founded the company in 2020, supported by Chairman Ian Watson. With decades worth of experience between them in finance and investment roles, they have a proven track record of building and growing businesses that make a real impact.

 

Supported by team members within marketing, operation and sales, the team aims to leverage their strategic partnership with the NHS Deep Cleaning and Advisory Service to provide better health and hygiene for communities across the UK.

Kevin Gray
CEO

With over 20 years of experience in Investment Banking covering Equity Derivatives Trading, Broking and Sales, Kevin has built, owned and sold companies from scratch – some of which have employed more than 80 staff, with an annual turnover of over £10,000,000. His success has been built upon the formation of strong strategic partnerships, both internally and externally. With a proven track record for exceeding targets, Kevin has strong leadership skills, demonstrated through his success in driving high performance teams across a range of markets. Kevin is a strong communicator with exceptional management and motivational skills. Dedicated to driving growth and maximising opportunities, a strong negotiator who is enthusiastic about business and delivering a professional service.


Douglas Olofsson
COO

Douglas is a financial professional, having studied Finance in London he has gained a strong understanding of financial frameworks, which he furthered working in major reputable financial institutions in mainly Luxembourg and London. His main background being asset management has rapidly developed himself in the field of FinTech, he has helped firm’s rollout products and services into institutional, professional and retail investment markets. In 2016 he led a London based regulated investment management firm to raise over £40 million positive inflows to their portfolios via retail investment markets, in its second trading year, peaking at an £8 million monthly positive flow. He has a keen interest in integrating technological aspects into companies and sectors, always looking to take advantage of the latest technological enhancements available, he recently led the development of blockchain solutions into a large conglomerate.


Ian Watson
Chairman

Ian’s entrepreneurial background and sales-driven mindset has resulted in the sale of his communications business in 2018, which had over 60 staff and an annual turnover of £16m a year. His industry experience ranges from engineering to telecommunications and more recently healthcare. Ian at the peak of his career in the mobile phone industry pioneered the launch of home delivery for mobile phone devices to customers. This quickly scaled and is now an essential service solely led by his commitment to fulfilling customer needs.
His role as chairman of Tutum Health provides a depth of leadership experience that drives growth for the team as a whole and he is a sounding board for customer engagement and sales growth expertise.

Tony Sullivan
Environmental & Decontamination Manager - NHS Deep Cleaning and Advisory Service

An experienced leader in decontamination for both NHS and private sector organisations, Tony plays a crucial role in delivering NTH Solutions’ deep cleaning and bio-decontamination services to the wider community.
Tony has a degree in Decontamination Sciences and his knowledge in this area has also led to his position as the interim chair and director of communication for the Institute of Decontamination Sciences, the professional body for decontamination in the UK.
He works closely with the North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust’s infection prevention and control and microbiology teams to ensure all services are aligned with the NHS protocol for cleanliness. His background and credentials in decontamination also mean Tony is qualified to deliver the NHS Deep Cleaning and Advisory Service’s RSPH accredited course in ‘Cleaning the NHS Way’, to educate not only our staff but cleaning teams in schools, care homes and private organisations across the UK.
Tony joined NTH Solutions in August 2020, where he heads up the NHS Deep Cleaning and Advisory Service and works with hundreds of organisations across the country to extend his knowledge and practices in decontamination. From this position Tony now also works closely with Tutum Health as a key advisor.


Barrington Burles
Science Consultant

A Cambridge University graduate of Natural Sciences and Vet Med. Barry is experienced in marketing, commercialisation, and business development across many industries, including FMCG and finance. Responsible in Dalgety plc, the UK’s largest FTSE 100 international agriscience company, for Corporate Strategy and investment in agriscience and animal health R&D. When Dalgety was broken up by the City, he mapped the UK life science base for the Dti and was given a public award for commercialising many early-stage technologies and raising over £80m in investment funding. He helped to list a few on UK public markets and Ventiv Health on NASDAQ for $50m. He helped to pioneer the teleradiology and many diagnostics in the UK – including and the use of metal ions for hygiene and health management. During his time at Cambridge University J P Morgan sponsored his Harvard business training. As part of the NHS Gateway to Leadership initiative, he was responsible for Corporate Strategy and Condition Management across North East London and championed Innovation Health and Wealth across NHS England. He is now helping the commercial and scientific development of Tutum Health.


Graeme Kelly
Assistant Director for Decontamination Services - NHS Deep Cleaning and Advisory Service

With more than ten years of experience in decontamination sciences, Graeme Kelly oversees the decontamination service delivered to North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust.

After graduating with an MBA from Teesside University in 2010, and then completing a degree in Decontamination from Kingston University in 2013, Graeme has gained skills in a variety of disciplines, including environmental decontamination, outbreak management and bio-decontamination.

In addition, Graeme is experienced in portfolio management of medical instrument sterilisation and endoscope decontamination, which is supported by a sound understanding of legislation and regulatory requirements, including NHS Healthcare Cleaning Standards and JAG Decontamination Standards.

Graeme’s extensive knowledge and experience in decontamination has been applied to maintain standards and develop procedures throughout his career within the NHS.
